I am represented with my series “The Space in Between” during the 57th Venice Art Biennale 2017 in the Palazzo Mora.

THE SPACE IN BETWEEN
In the space between, by the absence of something arises tension arises curiosity and imagination. As in music, the end and the beginning of a sequence of notes brings us the silence in mind; a silence that throws us back on ourselves. This "being thrown back" I tried to visualize in my series of still lifes. The absence of things in between, the lifting of continuity tell the story, the story of ordinary things as well as the last things. See more:
